We are an affordable, clean and simple hostel, located in the centre of Barcelona, in a quiet but lively neighbourhood such as Poble Sec.
The location of Hostal Río de Castro makes it an ideal hostel for visiting Barcelona as it is located next to the Fira Barcelona and Avenida Paralel, one of the main arteries of Barcelona with an important cultural activity (theatres, cinemas…), in addition, other places of interest in Barcelona are accessible on foot such as Las Ramblas, the Gothic Quarter or the Port area.
The Gothic Quarter with its narrow and winding medieval streets, together with its picturesque and quiet squares coexist with a huge variety of quality classic restaurants, ethnic food, terraces and tapas bars, as well as a very rich offer of small shops with workshops, designers and avant-garde artists.
